Before working from home, you need to have in place a formal agreement with your manager. The agreement identifies the days and hours you will be considered to be ‘at work’ whilst at home.
Your home-based work area should be as safe, tidy and comfortable place to work as if you were in the office. You need to ensure you have, or can arrange for, all necessary equipment to work safely and comfortably from home.
Before working from home, please complete a HSE Induction Checklist (with your manager) and an Ergonomic Workstation Self-Assessment Checklist.
